We work hard to make sure our students meet all their age appropriate bench marks. It is our belief that children learn by doing so we make sure our curriculum and activities cover all the developmental objectives. The objectives we cover on a daily basis range from social emotional objectives, to language, literacy, mathematics, and physical objectives. We also make sure that our children get plenty of cognitive sensory activities that help them develop reasoning abilities, problem solving skills as well as memory and language comprehension.

We use three main curricula to achieve these goals:

The Beyond Centers and Circle Time

The Beyond Centers and Circle Time Curriculum is designed to provide a blend between a developmental and a didactic approach to working with young children. It is theme based and provides opportunities to offer direct information while allowing children to experiment and explore materials in order to create their own knowledge. The Beyond Centers and Circle Time Curriculum offers a balance between supporting the child’s acquisition of skills and knowledge that will prepare him/her for later school success and the joys and delights of experiencing a playful childhood.

A Beka Book

A Beka curriculum is outstanding curriculum built on a foundation of academic excellence and Christian character training. With ABeka our students receive the very best in traditional education, comprehensive curriculum, and eternal truths.

High Reach

HighReach Learning believes that children learn best by actively engaging with people and things in their environment. Children are involved in hands-on experiences, real-life adventures, and assisted discovery as they explore concepts through play. The HighReach Learning curricular approach is based on the following points:

  • Relationship-based learning
  • Sound early childhood research and theory
  • Emergent curriculum development
  • Project-focused play investigations
  • Intentional planning and teaching strategies
  • Involving families, culture, and community
